The Who's Who 60 was created to commemorate the 60th Edition of Who's Who in America. From each decade, beginning in the 1890s, we have chosen one individual to represent each of the following five areas: Science & Technology; Newsmakers; Business & Industry; Sports; and Entertainment, Arts and Letters.

The individuals profiled are innovators, dreamers, achievers. From Thomas Edison to Bill Gates, from Edith Wharton to Stephen King, from John D. Rockefeller to Meg Whitman, the editorial staff of Marquis Who's Who has selected individuals who have helped to define their eras.
